Since 1969 Mark Pearson has enjoyed four distinct musical careers. He is a member of The Brothers Four, sings with his college friend, Mike McCoy, performs as a solo artist, and continues to write songs.
Presently Pearson is using a lifetime of songs and stories to create the story of a lifetime around 49 campfires at his website, MarkPearsonMusic.com. Each campfire uses a Campfire Song, a Campfire Chronicle or story shared in the oral tradition, and a Campfire Log to mark a moment in his unique and universal journey. Entitled One of Those Times in a Life the journey spins many yarns and weaves those yarns into a unique and universal tapestry. Weekly blog posts introduce additional songs and stories.

When I turned 5 or 6 The Brothers Four performed at my Dad's Elks Club. (1967 or '68) Dad went to school or grew up with Dick Foley. Mr. Foley and the Brothers Four sang me happy birthday! That I will never forget! Dad passed away too early & I don't remember whether they went to school or grew up together. We owned that first album from the beginning though & I loved it!!
A neat story and fine memory. If the performance you are referring to was at the Lake City Elks (in North Seattle) then it was the first performance I did as a member of the Brothers Four. A special memory for me as well.
